Dan-About Me

My name is Dan Andersson-Lantto and I come from Kiruna which is the northernmost city of Sweden. I´m hearing impaired, but I don´t see my handicap of hearing as an obstacle since I like to take on new challenges.

I have been doing porcelain painting since January 1990 and have become more and more engaged since I feel this incredible excitement when I open the kiln after the objects are burned, porcelain as well as glass.

I become interested in glass painting about 7-8 years ago and wasn´t familiar with it back then, but learned quickly since I attended Birthe Hattel´s courses in Kolmården, outside Norrköping (about 2-3 hours driving from Stockholm).

Now I have started my own firm and want to lead courses under private management because I see this as a new challenge.
